My movie story
Documentaries
My documentary films have taken me to the most diverse places in the world and I have come into contact with topics that have had a lasting impact on me as well as the people I have been able to get to know. Whether shooting for one or several weeks, every film project has enriched and inspired me enormously.
All films listed here are in German, but productions in another language are also possible with us.
Displacement
Around 11,500 people were forcibly resettled or forcibly expelled from the immediate border area with West Germany to the interior of the GDR. Together with filmmaker Peter Grimm and regional historian Bruno Leister, I set out in search of clues. In our film we portray, among other things, the fate of the Fink family from Kranlucken, who resisted joining the LPG.

Revolutionary innovations
A Saxon industrial and family history. It describes the rise of the textile industry from 1820 and the decline of this industry at the end of the last century. This story is closely interwoven with the history of three families who were founders and very successful entrepreneurs. However, political entanglements also led to family suicides. Extensive original material tells an impressive story.
